Andrea Orsini Scataglini

Chief Executive Officer

Andrea Orsini Scataglini studied in London and later in Milan, where he attended the Faculty of Law. He became a registered journalist with the Italian Order of Journalists thanks to his collaborations with "La Repubblica" and "Mediaset".
After graduating in Business Communication at the Berlitz School in New York, he built solid experience in public relations and institutional affairs across the fashion, food & beverage, sports, and automotive sectors.
Since 2006, he has been working with the Marchesi Frescobaldi Group, initially as PR Manager for the Ornellaia and Masseto brands, and, since 2019, as the Group's Public Relations & Communication Director.
He holds the WSET Level III certification, has been a Chevalier du Tastevin with the Confrérie des Chevaliers du Tastevin in Burgundy since 2016, and has lectured on communication at both Bocconi University and IULM University.

Jacopo Antolini

Head of Department and Departments' Coordinator

He developed his passion for art within the more traditional gallery setting, where he first began to engage with the dynamics of artistic practice and collecting. He subsequently moved into the auction market, heading the modern and contemporary art departments at leading auction houses. For over twenty years, he has also been active in art market consultancy and analysis, supporting private collectors and institutions in defining strategies for the acquisition, management and promotion of artworks.

Gabriele Sintoni

Head of Department

Gabriele was born in 1974 into a third-generation family of philatelists, but from an early age he developed a strong passion for numismatics, dedicating himself to the study and collection of coins. Since 1993, he has worked alongside his parents in the family business and, with the opening of the first shop in Forlì, began his professional career in the numismatic field. Today, he owns two businesses in Forlì and Cesena. Since 2001, he has been a member of NIP and holds authorization from the Bank of Italy to trade in investment gold. Since 2005, he has organized fixed-price sales and numismatic auctions, operating with professionalism and transparency. He specializes in Italian coinage and regularly participates in major national and international auctions, as well as industry fairs, including those held in Germany. He is a certified philatelic and numismatic expert for the Court of Forlì and collaborates with institutions and professionals on appraisals and valuations. He also maintains a well-stocked and constantly updated numismatic library to support his research and cataloguing work.

Donatella Borroni

Head of Operations

With over 25 years of experience in the international auction market, Donatella brings proven expertise in the strategic management and sale of artworks and collectibles, across both auction and private sale channels. Her career—predominantly at Sotheby’s—has encompassed key roles in business development, high-net-worth client engagement, event execution, and brand positioning.

She has successfully led high-stakes projects, including single-owner sales and company events during major art fairs and exhibitions, demonstrating strong leadership and operational agility. In her current role as Head of Operations at Kruso Art, Donatella applies her industry insight and organizational excellence to drive process optimization, operational efficiency, and sustainable business growth.


Department Assistant
Fabio Lombrici

Junior Specialist

Fabio joined Kruso Art Auction House’s team as Junior Specialist, managing the Modern and Contemporary Art auctions and interacting with archives and foundations to obtain the certificates of authenticity of the artworks. He also collaborates with the other departments to the publication of the auctions.

Gabriele Medaglini

Junior Specialist

Gabriele received his M.Sc in Arts Management being from the beginning passionate about the field of contemporary art, its economic dimension and, more in general, in the art market dynamics. According to this, he gained experiences in contexts such as contemporary art galleries, start-ups and the art advisory sector. He joined the Kruso Art team in the role of Modern and Contemporary Art Department assistant managing contemporary art auctions and collaborating on the publication of the auctions of the other departments.
 

Carlotta Brianzoni

Assistant

Always attracted by the art market dynamics, thanks to a degree in Economics and a Master in Cultural Heritage Management, Carlotta has immediately started her professional career in auction houses. Now she fill the role of Department Assistant within Kruso Art’s team.

Silvia Mariotto

Assistant

After a Bachelor's degree in Art Economics and a Master's degree in Economics and Management for Art and Culture, Silvia started her working career in an auction house. Passionate about art in its many forms, she joined the Kruso Art team dealing with client contacts and departmental support.

Imaging and Graphic Design
Giada Pisati

Photographer and graphic designer 

She attended the Academy of Photography Mohole, in Milan, learning and deepening different sectors, such as fashion, still life and interior design.
Within Kruso Art Auction House she photographs, reproduces and digitalizes works of art and jewelry; while, as a graphic designer, she curates the design of the auction catalogues and all other aspects related to communicating with images.

Sabrina Barca

Graphic Design and Marketing intern

Sabrina studied Communication and obtained a master's degree in Visual Design & Integrated Marketing Communication at NABA – Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti.
At Kruso Art, she is responsible for graphic design activities, including image cleaning and optimisation and the design of auction catalogues. She also oversees communication and digital marketing, handling PED planning, social media management and the creation of new content and formats, contributing to the development of the brand's visual and strategic identity.

Stefano Mancabelli

Administrative Manager

After completing a degree in Economics and a Master’s degree in Tax Planning, Stefano gained significant managerial and executive experience within major multinational groups.
To date, he has held roles as General Manager, Project Manager, CFO and Financial Planning Consultant. 

Lorena Proscia

Administration

At Kruso Art, Lorena manages administrative activities with particular reference to suppliers, customer buyers and customer mandators

Alessio Chiaverini

Delivery and collection service

After a solid career in the Fashion & Luxury sector, Alessio now holds the position of Logistics Manager at Kruso Art, ensuring comprehensive management of the supply chain for all types of goods and coordinating B2B and B2C flows.
The goal is to guarantee operational excellence in the organisation of national and international shipments and to support customers with all their requests in this regard.
