History

The Kruso Art auction house was founded in Milan in 2018 under the name Art-Rite, inspired by the editorial experience of the magazine of the same name active in New York’s Greenwich Village neighborhood between 1973 and 1978. Its experimental legacy has been embraced with the aim of offering curatorial-level catalogs, whether to meet the demands of first-time collectors or experienced collectors, offering artworks and luxury goods capable of meeting the aesthetic tastes and budget requirements of various audience segments and market operators.

A turning point in the auction house’s history was its acquisition in November 2022 by the financial entity Kruso Kapital S.p.A., which led to the rebranding activity in the first half of 2025 and resulted in the adoption of the name Kruso Art, with a view to greater integration with the parent company’s philosophy.

Through its activities, Kruso Art aims to establish connections.
