Dear collectors and philately enthusiasts,
We are delighted to welcome you to this new auction, featuring 334 carefully selected lots offering unique opportunities for specialist collectors, for those wishing to enrich their collections with pieces of remarkable historical appeal, and for professionals in the trade seeking new material for their clients.
The catalogue opens with a refined selection devoted to the Italian Old States, rich in postal history ranging from Lombardy-Venetia to Tuscany. It then continues through the history of the Kingdom of Italy under Victor Emmanuel II, Umberto I and Victor Emmanuel III, with particular attention devoted to the Fiume Occupation section. Here, the issues are closely intertwined with the political and military events of the twentieth century, offering material of considerable historical and documentary interest.
The catalogue also includes important offerings from the wider Italian area as well as from abroad, featuring both classic and modern issues from several continents. To round off the auction, you will find an extensive section of multiple lots, accumulations and entire collections from Italy and around the world — an ideal opportunity for those who enjoy the pleasure of research, study and the discovery of new varieties.
We invite you to browse the catalogue carefully and submit your bids.
Wishing everyone a successful and enjoyable auction!
