Approximately 200 lots, characterised by accessible estimates, make up an auction designed to introduce a younger audience, as well as those approaching collecting for the first time, to the art market. The initiative focuses on breadth and accessibility, offering multiple entry points for those wishing to begin building their own collection, alongside works and proposals aimed at established collectors.

The key word is “freshness”: in the format itself, in the dialogue between generations and artistic languages, and in the ambition to create an experience capable of engaging audiences who do not typically frequent the auction world.

It is within this context that “Momentum”, the project with DutyGorn, takes shape, representing the contemporary core of the initiative. Evolving from graffiti practices and interventions in urban space, the artist pursues a multidisciplinary practice spanning painting, sculpture and found materials.

On 7 October, during the opening, DutyGorn will take centre stage with a live performance at Kruso Art, where he will create a new work in front of the audience. The work will not remain solely connected to the performative moment: it will subsequently become part of the auction catalogue for the 14 October sale, establishing a direct connection between the performance, the exhibition project and the market.

The exhibition that follows, open to the public from 8 to 13 October, brings DutyGorn’s work into dialogue with a selection of works that will subsequently be offered at auction, creating a journey across different generations and artistic languages. Rather than following a chronological sequence, the exhibition juxtaposes works according to affinities and contrasts, generating new perspectives and interpretations.

The exhibition unfolds across a number of thematic strands: from the relationship between gesture, space and architecture to rhythm and abstraction; from the body and the figure to presence and absence; from the deconstruction of the image to memory, and from colour and language to the transformation of everyday objects into symbols and signs. Artists whose work enters into dialogue with DutyGorn include Giulio Paolini, Victor Pasmore, Enzo Esposito, Giacomo Manzù, Alfred Milot Mirashi, Pablo Atchugarry, Giuseppe Donati (Pillino), Andreina Parodi Monti, Ugo Nespolo and Giorgio Gatto.
